We adhere to the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations, which have been developed in accordance with the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Abuse and the National Standards for Child Safe Organisations.

We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all children, young people, and their families. We have established and maintained practices, procedures, and a culture that safeguards children and young people from harm and ensures that any allegations or concerns are treated seriously and acted upon immediately.

We will ensure that all employees, contractors, and volunteers receive regular training on child safety and are aware of their role and responsibilities in protecting children from harm.

  1. Recruitment Practices:

We will ensure that all employees, contractors, and volunteers undergo thorough screening and background checks in accordance with our Child Protection Policy and Procedures.

  1. Reporting Concerns:

We have procedures in place for responding to and reporting any allegations of child abuse or risks to child safety. All concerns will be taken seriously and responded to promptly.

  1. Support and Assistance:

We are committed to providing support to any child, young person, or family member who has been affected by child abuse, and to providing appropriate assistance and referral to support services as required.

  1. Compliance and Continuous Improvement:

We regularly review our policies, procedures, and practices to ensure they adhere to the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and the National Standards for Child Safe Organisations. We are committed to ongoing improvement to create a safer environment for all children and young people.

  1. Promoting Child Safety:

We will actively promote the importance of child safety and awareness of child abuse prevention within our community and encourage the involvement and support of children, young people, and families in this effort.
